The 4th of July is right around the corner and two of our favorite things about this holiday weekend is the family time and the fireworks! That’s why we wrote this blog: we want to make sure that you don’t miss out on all the celebrations happening around Johnston County
Clayton’s
39th Annual 4th of July Celebration!
Family fun starting at 4 pm on Thursday, July 4, 2019, at Municipal Park in Clayton. There will be live music, giveaways, delicious summer snacks, a variety of food vendors, cornhole tournaments, inflatables, fair rides, raffles and many more games throughout the night. At about 9 pm when it gets dark, the fireworks show will start. The best view is from the park but they can also be seen from many locations around downtown Clayton like Town Square or Horne Square on Main Street. The All-American Festival in Selma!
Town of Selma’s ALL-AMERICAN Festival will start at 6 pm on Railroad Street in front of Town Hall in Uptown Selma. This is a free family-friendly festival with train rides, watermelon, music, and don’t forget the ALL-AMERICAN fireworks show that will begin at 9:15 pm. Make sure to visit the Town of Selma site for more information on vendors, sponsors and the band that will be playing all night long!

4th of July at Deep River!
Spend the day at Deep River for their annual Independence Day celebration on Thursday, July 4, 2019. Parking will start no earlier than 12 pm, live music from 2-5 and 6-9:15 pm, food trucks from 3-9 pm, and a great view of the Town of Clayton’s fireworks show at the end of the night! Archer Lodge Family Fun Day!
Start your 4th of July festivities a little early this year at the Family Fun Day in Archer Lodge at the Community Center on Saturday, June 29, 2019! Events will start at 7 am and go until the fireworks show at 9:15 pm. The festivities include a 5K, skydivers, a parade, inflatables and games, food trucks, live music, raffle drawings, and a patriotic ceremony. You wouldn’t want to miss out on this fun community day! Cleveland Fire Department 4th of July Event!
Join the Cleveland Fire Department for an all-day summer fun event Thursday, July 4, 2019, from 7 am – 10 pm! Kick-off is at 7 am with a pancake breakfast and the parade to follow right after at 10 am. Enjoy all kinds of other family festivities while you wait for the fireworks show starting at 9 pm.
