On Saturday, October 12th, the first Skyfest 2019 took place at the Johnston County Airport (JNX). During this event our builder partner, One27Homes was honored with the privilege of awarding a deserving marine veteran and his family with the symbolic key to their future brand new home in Clayton.
As part of Operation Coming Home, One27Homes was chosen as this year’s builder to provide Marine Vet Jason Nichols and his beautiful family a gift of gratitude for the service he and his family gave to our nation. One27Homes CEO Reid Smith stated; “We are so glad to have met you, and can’t wait to get started on this journey with you!“
A First for Johnston County
As the listing partner for One27Homes, we are so incredibly humbled and at the same time, very proud of One27Homes. The fact that they will be building the very first Operation Home Coming home in Johnston County for this deserving vet and his family is rare honor and privilege!
Ground breaking is scheduled for sometime around the first of 2020. The Nichols new Johnston County home will be built in our Clayton new home community of Ashcroft!

Coming Home is a joint volunteer project by the Home Builders Association of Raleigh–Wake County (HBA), and various area nonprofits and businesses. The project builds and donates homes for disabled combat veterans who have served in the Middle East, after a selection committee interviews candidates to determine the best fit. This is the first home built by One27Homes with Operation: Coming Home.
