10 Things You Didn’t Know About Connor!

#1 Connor Fagan was actually born in Kentucky but moved to Raleigh, NC when he was two months old. We’re pretty sure that makes Connor a native of Raleigh.

#2 Fun fact: his dad’s work took the Fagan family to live in Paris, France for two years. Ironically, when they returned to the states, they moved right back into the same house in Raleigh.

#3 Connor can speak a little French, but he studied Latin for three years in high school, and Spanish for three years in college. “Carpe diem, mi amigos!” he says. “That’s all I have!

#4 Working at Jaclyn Smith Properties as a Listing Agent, Connor finds it so rewarding when he is able to help an agent and their buyer. It’s all about helping them find a location they love in one of our communities. Next, he matches the buyer with the right floor plan that works best for their family. He says it’s so rewarding to help a buyer purchase their new dream home.

#5 Connor and his wife, Alexa, love living in their One27Homes built home. It’s the Georgia floor plan. Connor especially loves the rec room upstairs. He spends tons of time playing ping pong and will openly challenge anyone and everyone to try to beat him on his home court.

#6 Connor attended North Carolina State University (Go Pack!) where he studied business, finance, and economics.

His wife, Alexa, who also attended NC State, is finishing her masters in public health and will then begin a new semester in the Physician’s Assistant program at Campbell University.

#7 Their families each have a beach house at Kure Beach, NC, where they met and started dating at the tend age of 16 years old. They married in late 2018.

#8 When asked where they love to travel, the answer is easy. They love visiting with family at Kure Beach. Spending weekends in the summer fishing, and relaxing on the beach.

#9 Connor’s music taste is varied. “ I love all kinds of music, especially acoustic guitar,” he said.  He really likes the sounds of Ben Howard, Dermot Kennedy, and Maggie Rogers, but he says it’s tough to name a favorite.

#10 In the realm of sports, Connor is definitely a Wolfpack fan. His dad went to the University of Georgia and it was common for them to attend two Georgia football games every year. Because of those memories, SEC football will forever be his favorite college sport to watch. 

PGA Golf

Other bucket-list memories include attending the Masters PGA golf tournament three different years. Watching golf played at such a high level on the famed Augusta National course is among his favorite experiences.

Bonus Fun Fact! When asked about his favorite foods, Connor replied, “If I could have one meal for the rest of my life it would be a toss-up between a Five Guys double cheeseburger and Chick-fil-a spicy chicken sandwich (minus the pickles) and add pepper jack cheese.”  He adds, “I really wish that somehow these items could be added to a Cookout tray so that he could also get a Cajun Wrap as a side item. Maybe someday.” You can certainly judge a great guy based on his choices for the finer fast foods!
