Our Commitment to Military Members
As part of the AWREP program, our RiverWILD Real Estate Team attended a powerful boot camp session in Clayton, NC, on September 25th. Led by the inspiring Louise Thaxton, the event was an extraordinary day of learning and honoring our local heroes. Not only did our team gain insights and knowledge from the training, but we also participated in initiatives that directly benefit veterans.
We were moved to witness an active-duty service member, with 19 years in the U.S. Air Force, receive funds to support the training of her service dog—a crucial step in enhancing her quality of life. Additionally, the event honored the memory of a fallen veteran by providing a scholarship to a North Carolina high school student. We were humbled to contribute to these impactful causes, as they align with our commitment to supporting military families.
Meeting Jason Redman and Karma
The highlight of the day was meeting Jason Redman, a renowned veteran, speaker, and author, accompanied by his service dog, Karma. His story of resilience and service reminded us of the sacrifices made by our military personnel and the importance of our role in assisting them in finding a place to call home.
