Lights on the Neuse Clayton
The Lights on the Neuse is a traditional Christmas Hayride through the Boyette Farm here in Clayton. Located at the corner of Covered Bridge Road and Loop Road, you are cordially invited to bring your friends and family and celebrate the magic of the Christmas season at Lights on the Neuse.
Hours of operation: Weather permitting (check their Facebook page for the schedule)
Cost: Age 3 and up -10.00 (Hayride and a physically distanced Santa Photo) Age 2 and under – Free
Christmas Lights on Holt Road Apex
Hold each holiday season since 2010, the Christmas Lights on Holt Road is located in Apex.
Hours of operation: Be sure to check their Facebook page for the hours of operation and a list of “does and don’ts.

Christmas Village at Tobacco Life Museum Kenly
The Tobacco Life Museum Christmas Village is a drive-thru Christmas light show on the property and it’s offered on the first two Fridays and Saturdays of December. This a 20-minute drive-thru experience that also offers hotdogs, and concessions for purchase. It’s a safe experience for one and all.
Hours of operation: Dec. 11th & 12th from 5 pm to 8 pm.
Cost: $10/car. Only cash is accepted for tickets purchased at the gate. Advance ticket can be purchased here!
Planter’s Walk Greenway Christmas Lights Knightdale
Neighbors who backup to the Planter’s Walk Greenway in Knightdale decorate for the Christmas season each year with festive lights and snowmaking machines. It is recommended you park in the community pool parking lot to access the greenway. Be careful walking across Lynwood Road as it can be very busy.

Christmas Lights on the Farm Middlesex
For a downhome on the farm Christmas, it’s hard to beat the Christmas Lights on the Farm hosted in Middlesex. Experience hayrides through a field of lights, a bonfire, pictures with Santa, a visit to Santa’s workshop and Big Daddy’s General Store where you’ll feast on old fashioned candy, s’mores, and plenty of hot chocolate and hot apple cider (purchased at the concession stand).
There will be special nights for carollers along with Santa and Bucky the Reindeer!
Hours of operation: Open 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Be sure to check this web page for open dates.
Cost: 3 and under free, 4 and up: $8. You can purchase tickets online here.
Fieldstream Farm Festival Of Lights Raleigh
Fieldstream Farm Festival of Lights host a drive-thru Christmas light show that offers 1 million lights.
Hours of operation: Times may change for inclement weather and holiday hours. Monday – Thursday 6:30 pm-9:45 pm, Friday 6:30 pm-9:45 pm, Saturday 5:30 pm-9:45 pm, Sunday 5:30 pm-9:45 pm
Cost: $20 per car. Purchase tickets in advance here.
Goldman Family Lights Raleigh
The Goldman Family Lights is located in Raleigh and it’s free. Donations are accepted for the Wounded Warrior Project.
Hours of operation: NA
Cost: Free! (Donations to the Wounded Warrior are gladly accepted)
Nights of Lights Dix Park Raleigh
Located in the Dix Park at 75 Hunt Drive, Raleigh, this drive-through Christmas light display is 1.3 miles of illuminated trees, light displays and also incorporates local art.
Hours of operation: Select nights from December 16th through December 31st, 2020 from 5:30 p.m to 10 p.m. or 11 p.m.
Cost: $15/car. $30/vehicle that holds 9 or more. Discounts will be offered on Dec 28th & 29th. Purchase tickets in advance here.
The Nelson’s Christmas Lights Show Raleigh
The Nelson family display of whimsical Christmas lights, inflatables, and music is located at 3905 Falmouth Drive, Raleigh, NC 27604.
Hours of operation: Starting Saturday, November 28th, and then Thursday through Saturday, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, 6 p.m to 9 p.m.
Cost: Free
Lights on the Meadow Raleigh
Located at 9301 Hay Meadow Court in Raleigh, the Lights on the Meadow display is a drive-by experience. You are asked to tune to 88.3 FM to enjoy the lights synced to music. It is important to note that the light show is located in a residential community. Drivers are encouraged to remain in your vehicle and proceed to the end of the cul-de-sac where you can turn around to exit.
Hours of Operation: Light shows are scheduled for December 5th – 31st 2020. Mon – Thurs 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm, Fri – Sat 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm, Sun 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Lights on Cedar Wake Forest
Be sure to visit with Santa on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 6 pm-8pm and Dec. 4th- Dec. 20th!!
Hours of operation: Lights are on display through 12/31/2020 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Ambrose Lights Raleigh
While this family light display isn’t the largest of the group, it’s definitely big on heart! Located in Raleigh at 3401 Cartway Lane, the Ambrose family has become a family tradition for many local families and it deserves to be on your must-see Christmas light display list.
Hours of operation: Display dates and hours were not available on their Facebook page. Due to a family illness, the opening night of the display has been delayed.
Cost: Free (donations accepted)
Piper Lights Wake Forest
What started with a tiny manger scene 30 years ago has evolved into 7 acres of pure Christmas lighted joy! Piper Lights is a local, family-run Christmas light drive-thru display that is located off at 5725 Fixit Shop Road in Wake Forest.
Due to the pandemic, the family will not operate the candy store nor the train this year.

Lake Myra Lights Wendell
The Lake Myra Christmas Lights is one of the biggest and most popular light shows in the Triangle. The light display is located in the Wendell town park and operates through December 31st, 2020.
Hours of operation: Sunday to Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m and Friday and Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Each show is 25 minutes in length with a 5-minute intermission between each show.
Cost: Free (donations are accepted.)
Hill Ridge Farm Youngsville
The Hill Ridge Farm drive-thru Festival of Lights display is even bigger and better than ever for 2020! Come drive-thru the magical light displays on a mile-long plus trail throughout the farm.
Hours of operation: Open nightly 5:30pm-10pm
Cost: $20/car
Glen Iris Christmas Zebulon
Located in Johnston County at 24 Gennessee Drive, Zebulon, the opening night is December 4th, 2020.
