Let’s dive into what’s happening and why it might matter for you.
Wendell Falls & Treelight Square: A Growing Hub of Convenience
Treelight Square, the vibrant center of Wendell Falls, has recently welcomed Tropical Smoothie Cafe and Great Clips. This adds to its expanding array of quick dining and essential services, all conveniently located within the community (and minutes from Maggie Way).
But that’s not all! Wendell Falls’ Treelight Square is gearing up for even more exciting arrivals.

Chick-fil-A, OrthoNC, AutoZone, and Sam’s Xpress Car Wash are on the horizon, promising even more quick-service food options and everyday conveniences just a 11 minute drive away from Maggie Way.
Wawa is Eyeing Wendell
Big news for Wendell: Wawa is planning to expand into North Carolina, with Wendell being a likely target. The Wendell Commerce Center at I-87 is where this iconic convenience store may land. With a massive development underway, including 1.8 million square feet across eight buildings, this area is set to bring in jobs and support local businesses.
The distance from the Maggie Way new home community to the new Wawa is only 11 minutes.
Zebulon: From Stadium Revamp to New Shopping Centers

Exciting developments are also happening in Zebulon. The Five County Stadium is getting a makeover, with operations shifting to Capitol Broadcasting, the owners of the Durham Bulls. The stadium will soon offer year-round events like collegiate baseball, concerts, and community gatherings, making it a vibrant destination for locals.

The north side of Zebulon is also welcoming new retail options. The upcoming Zebulon Village is located at Highway 96 and Proctor Road. Rumor has it a Publix grocery store will be built in this new commercial development.
The distance from the new Zebulon Village commercial development to Riverside is only a 12 minute drive.
This grocery-anchored center is set to bring much-needed convenience to the area, marking the first such project since the early ’90s.

Maggie Way and Riverside Neighborhood Highlights

Maggie Way: Enjoy fast access to I-87 and all the new dining and services at Wendell Falls.
We had the pleasure of working with Rachel Leeworthy for our move from Ohio to the Maggie Way community in Wendell, North Carolina. We couldn’t be more grateful for her guidance and support throughout the entire process. Her insight into local vendors and the North Carolina real estate process was invaluable, especially as we navigated everything from a distance. Rachel was consistently responsive, answering our questions quickly and thoroughly, no matter how big or small. She also went above and beyond in helping us with the design process at our builder’s selection center, offering thoughtful advice that made a real difference. We highly recommend Rachel to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, dependable, and genuinely supportive real estate agent!

Riverside: You’re just minutes away from the lively events in downtown Zebulon as well as the renovated Five County Stadium and the upcoming Zebulon Village.
Megan Bland was a very valuable resource through this process, and explained to me the market’s pros and cons of buying a used home versus buying something new, that hadn’t been built yet. She was always there, to answer questions, and provide very useful information, so I could make quick decisions on the spot. Megan was always courteous, and had a vast amount of resources to fall back on, and share, as questions, came up. Megan made my home buying process logical, and systematic. I don’t plan on moving again, but should I move, in an area that Megan services (Zebulon), I would have no problem using Megan as my REALTOR®, or recommending her to others.
